Confucianism (Rujia), founded by Confucius (551–479 BCE) during the Spring and Autumn period, is one of the most humanistic philosophical systems in Chinese culture.
Its central vision is “cultivating the self, harmonizing the family, governing the state, and bringing peace to the world,” where individual moral cultivation influences family, society, and the nation.
